BROKEN CONCRETE

Broken concrete is simply recycled concrete sidewalks that are broken and used in landscaping.  Broken concrete is most often used as wall material because the broken edge of the concrete chunk, the part that is most visible when used as wall material, reveals an attractive pattern of cement and rock of various sizes.  Broken concrete may also be placed in sand for a patio or walkway.  Many designers like to make the joints wide and fill them with showy crevice plants or moss.
